Hello world!

I still can’t imagine why anyone would read what I have to say, but my husband keeps prompting me to start a blog. Why not? I’ll give it a shot. I have a few thoughts about being a mom, and I understand that moms also don’t want to lose their identities as women. I hope we can have many discussions on the emotional, spiritual, physical and mental aspects of our individual pursuits of the “supermom” status, from a Christian perspective.

I’m glad he encouraged you :) Loved it – it’s nice to know that someone else hides under the covers when motherhood is overwhelming :)

As the mom of a 4.5 yr old, I’ve had a lot of these moments, too. Once I left Olivia in the tub (she didn’t know I was just around the corner spying) because she wouldn’t let me wash her hair for the 256th time. I said “That’s it. take care of you clearly don’t need me!” Somehow my mommy tantrum paid off. No more tub troubles. Thanks for sharing. You’re an AWESOME mom.

My…sage words Sara. I forget that’s exactly how we can relate to God’s purposes for us in life. Sorry to hear it was a rough day for you.

Not a mom, obviously, but am I still allowed to comment on a mom blog? :-)
Anyway, just wanted to say “Welcome”, Sara, and encourage you to go for it. You’ll have fun, and it is most likely that more people will notice/read/learn/grow with you than you realize.
Looking forward to what you have to say.

Sara, good for you! I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how many people will benefit from your blog. Just remember, you are SUPERMOM to two terrific children!
